The Greatest Things In My Life!

This year I've decided I no longer care about what I have and if I have the newest stuff. Now I've realized what's really important in life is thanking and appreciating those you love and those who are there for you when you need them most. When I was younger I always thought that I should be thankful if my parents got me a new toy or a new phone but this year I've finally realize that the people in our lives are so much more important than any item anyone can buy. I finally realized this because at the end of the day no item is going to be there for you, but it's the people that will be. So this year I decided to really take the time and think and appreciate everyone who is there for me and everyone who loves me or takes the time to even ask something so simple as "Hey Yazie, how's your day?" Overall this year I'm just really appreciative and thankful for those who are there for me and for those who take the time and actually care about how I feel

The Tragedy of the 2k16-17 Election

During this years' elction I was not happy with the outcome at all. This year I wanted Hilary to win and not just because she is a woman but because in my opinion she was willing to help more Americans than Donald was. Though, unfortunately Hilary did not win and Donald did and although I feel very sad about this I do know it is not the end of the world and I'll survive. Therefore even though I was very upset with the outcome of this election I know everything will be okay and life will still go on.

Best Day Ever!

On Wednesday November 2nd, 2016, it was the best day ever! That night The Chicago Cubs won the World Series! I was with my three aunts and two cousins, we couldn't unglue our eyes from the T.V screen. It was a roller coaster of emotions for us, we were happy, sad, excited, anxious, nervous, and worried about what could and what might happen. It felt like one of the worst things knowing that the outcome could end up horrible yet, it also felt like one of the best things knowing this could end up really great. Finally the 10th inning came along and The Chicago Cubs won the World Series! Once they won the World Series I began to scream at the top of my lungs, and I'm not even embarrassed to say that I cried a little too. It felt like a dream, it was so unreal and exciting that the happiness I felt that day was undecribable.

The Mystery Behind the Alarm

As the students arrived in their red and white Heritage basketball uniforms, everything seemed copacetic. Nemesis against each other and the crowd hyping up preparing for the game. Then !BAM! In a split second the fire alarm goes off. Chaos struck. Students sprinting towards the door, the complete opposite of what they teach you in school. Faces of the students and staff gone red, trembling with fear, some even laughing because of how unrealistic it all seemed. Freedom Middle School, the fire alarm went off unexpectedly after school on September 15, 2016 before a basketball game. Moments before, Heritage and Freedom students were getting ready for their first basketball game, laughing, joking, and motivating themselves to beat each other. All was just fine until suddenly the fire alarm went off. Students everywhere, running, screeching, and out of control, teachers and staff said it was pure madness. Waiting outside for about twenty minutes staff finally got the okay to let students
